Black Friday?

 Black Friday 2020

By Rachel Kidder

Black Friday 2020 is coming on November 27th. Some shoppers are questioning whether or not in person shopping should be allowed due to the COVID pandemic. The Black Friday Deals are still on in the US, many stores are opening up online sales earlier and earlier. Black Friday deals will happen far ahead of Thanksgiving, with early start dates at the top of November and even in October.  Black Friday 2020: Is It Canceled, Store Closings, And Everything We Know - GameSpot

Many stores are giving workers the day off on Thanksgiving to decrease the in person contact due to the whole pandemic. There are many people who say that in person shopping is not going to happen this year.

“Don't believe the hype that says 'Black Friday is cancelled'” says Gareth Beavis, a shopping blogger. The deals will just be online and spread out instead of narrowly launching in a single weekend, according to Best Buy and other retailer's plans, and retailers are supporting Green Monday 2020 on December 14, for last-minute deals before Christmas.

So many of our favorite retailers will be offering online deals this Black Friday, the number of different stores you wanted to hit this year will all be at the touch of your fingertips. So you can be on your couch wrapped up in a blanket rather than waiting in a line for hours in the cold at a single store. This way you can catch all the deals!

Many retailers are still offering in person shopping this black friday, but it will be very limited and stores will only be at half capacity at any given time. Also this year stores won’t be open for as long so workers have time to disinfect and restock.

Good Luck with all your shopping needs this winter!
