Bishop Foley has been practicing and waiting for their fall athletics since we’ve been back to school.
WIth games starting for football, volleyball, and soccer, for now only two family members per player are allowed in the stands. Having fewer people in the stands keeps everyone socially distant. The athletes of the sporting event still have to wear masks. Many students complain of it being hard to breathe while wearing a mask and exercising.
Senior parking spot painting was still allowed. The senior class enjoyed having the opportunity to see their friends and be a part of the Foley traditions. Parking spot painting is a good example of an event that encourages social distancing yet it was still interactive with our classmates.
Our class retreats have been cancelled at this time, no answer as to if or when they will happen. Plays and events scheduled for later in the year are still being prepared for as if they could happen.
