Trouble in Cleveland

 


Last Sunday was a disappointing one for the Cleveland Browns, as they gave up a devastating loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers. This game was not even close as it was a blowout with a score of 38 to 7 and unfortunately it was a  critical one for the Browns. Not only was this game a rivalry game, but it was also a game that the Browns needed to prove themselves in. The Browns have been off to a great start, in fact this is a historical start for the team, but one question remains for them and it is if they can hang with the other good teams in the league. So far, when the Browns have faced off against other great teams in the league such as the Ravens, or the Steelers, they have had losses handed to them, but they aren’t just losses, they were blowouts. Their losses are leaving people wondering if the Browns are really a good team this year, if they are able to contend for a playoff spot, but the most disappointing thing that these losses have left people wondering is if changes need to be made on the team, more specifically at the quarterback position. 

Baker Mayfield has been the starting quarterback for the Browns for three seasons. He started off his career hot, immediately picking up wins for the Browns who were then coming off their 0-16 season, and the future looked very bright for the Browns, especially after they traded for Odell Beckham Jr, and signed Kareem Hunt, some even went as far as to say that they were Super Bowl Contenders. Although, when Baker’s second season came around, he left people wondering if he was really the answer for Cleveland, as he ended up having a terrible season. After receiving all the hype that they had gotten that year, they had still failed to make the playoffs, barely even winning any more games than they had the year before, and to make it worse it seemed that Baker and OBJ had terrible chemistry together. 

This season has not been a much better one for the Browns quarterback. This year he has played well but not come through in the games where he was needed the most. Last Sunday he was battling a rib injury and was pulled from the game but it has left some to speculate if he will remain as the starting qb for the future. Baker Mayfield is by no means a scrub as he is a former Heisman winner and number one pick in the draft, some people believe he needs to be benched, while others are still holding faith that he is the future of the team,  but even so at the end of the day, Baker Matfield will have to step up if he hopes to restore the faith that people once had in him.

  The best decades are officially coming back! The fashion, music, and even the fame of older celebrities in their prime. One of the biggest things that are helping these eras regain fame are the iconic movies made during these decades.
